About our Client

Our client, a transportation company based in Mississauga, Ontario, specializing in expedited ground services for time-sensitive cargo is currently looking for a driven and meticulous person to work as a Freight Forwarder on a full-time permanent basis. SALARY RANGES FROM $60K to $70K

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering effective solutions and cost-efficient shipping options to customers.
  • Managing the dispatch of urgent freight based on the specific requirements of clients.
  • Ensuring clear communication and smooth coordination of shipments.
  • Providing optimal transportation solutions for the internal team and third-party logistics, adhering to established guidelines and customer instructions.
  • Assisting with inquiries and resolving issues for drivers, flight crew, and customers regarding load assignments and deliveries.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizing abilities.
  • Experience operating in a computerized environment.
  • Dispatch experience is preferred.
  • Experience in setting up cross-border shipments with customs (ACE/ACI) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Skillful verbal and written communication.
  • A readiness to pick up new skills and adjust to new software.
