About Our Client
Our client provides a wide range of fire protection solutions. They are currently looking for a Fire Alarm Technician to join their amazing team in Burnaby on a full-time permanent basis. This position offers a competitive base pay and a complete benefits package that includes health coverage and prospects for advancement. Pay Rate - $35 to $45 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair fire alarms and sprinklers.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose fire alarm system issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance on firefighting equipment.
  • Inspect and test firefighting equipment to ensure correct operation.
  • Provide clients with assistance regarding the use and maintenance of their alarm systems.
  • Provide technical assistance to consumers by phone or in person.
  • Maintain compliance with local laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • ASTTBC registration with the RFPT designation.
  • Strong knowledge of electronics and electrical systems.
  • Strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Working from heights/mobile raised platform training is beneficial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
