With a team of highly dedicated professionals committed to the development and capacity building in the housing sector, they seek a dynamic and creative Writer /Editor proficient in both English and French to join their team. As a Writer/Editor, you will play a vital role in shaping and refining content that resonates with their diverse audience. With your innate ability to adapt your writing style to fit the specific nuances of each language, you'll be instrumental in crafting engaging and impactful materials. Your versatility and creativity will be put to the test as you translate and adapt texts from English to French, ensuring alignment with the francophone culture of Quebec and Canada.

In this role, you will be responsible for producing a variety of content, including blog posts, newsletters, project summaries, and web pages. Additionally, you will assist in drafting reports, ensuring cohesion and quality across all materials. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial as you write, review, and optimize content generated by their team, maintaining consistency and clarity throughout. Staying abreast of current events and industry trends will be essential to your success, as you contribute to the Client’s influence and mission.

What makes you stand out:

• Impeccable reading, writing, and translation skills in French and English
• A university or college degree in French Writing, journalism, communication, or language, coupled with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong research and synthesis abilities.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to thrive under pressure
• adept at working within a collaborative team environment while demonstrating autonomy and curiosity in your approach.
• Experience in journalism and/or knowledge of the housing industry is an asset
