About Our Client

Our client is a well-established organization in the manufacturing industry, known for delivering high-quality products and maintaining strong relationships with customers. They are currently expanding their team and are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Extruder Machine Operator to support their production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Location: Langley, BC
Schedule: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Starting from $17.85 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Operate extrusion machinery to produce high-quality plastic edge bands
  • Match colours and textures accurately during bulk production processes
  • Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and reduce material waste
  • Assist with product development and ensure colour consistency throughout production runs
  • Work closely with production and development teams to meet manufacturing goals
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow company procedures, safety standards, and quality control guidelines
  • Participate in training to gain a full understanding of company processes, procedures, and equipment operation

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle colour and texture differences
  • Excellent colour perception with the ability to pass a colour visibility test prior to hire
  • Mechanically inclined with an interest in hands-on manufacturing work
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a production environment
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and patience
  • Ability to work overtime or shift work when required
  • Reliable transportation is required, as the facility is not accessible by transit
  • Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is an asset but not required
  • Full training will be provided
