Job Description

Location: Windsor, Ontario (3 days Hybrid in office)
Type: Full-time, 12-month Fixed-Term Contract

Responsibilities

  • Receive, log, distribute, and track project documents and correspondence.

  • Coordinate document reviews and approvals across various departments and with external partners.

  • Ensure proper version control and audit trail of project documents.

  • Monitor workflows and follow up on outstanding documentation to ensure timelines are met.

  • Maintain consistency and accuracy across all project documentation platforms.

  • Support internal teams by providing timely access to updated records and project files.

  • Work with engineering and project teams to maintain document integrity throughout the project lifecycle.


Qualifications

Education & Certifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, or a combination of relevant diploma and practical experience.

  • Certifications in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) or through ARMA (American Records Management Association) are considered assets.

Experience & Skills

  • At least 3 years of experience in electronic document control, ideally within large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.

  • Hands-on experience with document management platforms such as e-Builder or comparable systems.

  • Strong ability to manage multiple files and tasks while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to professionalism and discretion.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (intermediate level or above).

  • Well-versed in document control procedures and database systems.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-paced team environment.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management capabilities.


Additional Requirements

  • Must be eligible for Government of Canada Personnel Screening/Security Clearance.

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.

  • Ability to travel within Ontario and to Michigan when necessary.
