About Our Client

Our Toronto client is looking for an interim Director of Finance and Operations to support their not-for-profit organization in the areas of Finance, Administration, HR, and IT. You will report directly to the CEO.


Responsibilities

Responsible for the creation and strict management of budgets and project plans.
Monitoring and reporting on the use of funds associated with any restricted grants
Prepares and monitors Risk Register
Leads regular Risk & Audit Committee Meetings
Prepares financial reports for the Risk & Audit Committee and The Board
Manages all facilities-related issues including office renovations
Oversees all IT services and management ensuring the necessary hardware and software are fully operational in
support of the organization’s needs including IT infrastructure, telephony, copiers, and supplies


Qualifications

An accomplished people manager with 5+ years of senior management and operational leadership
experience and 10 years of management experience
• A strong people manager with a track record of successful employee retention and working with diverse
workforces
• Demonstrated experience leading the goal-setting and performance-management process
• Experience includes managing an annual budget in excess of $4 million
• Solid track record in:
Leadership development
Recruiting staff up to the Manager level
Facilities management
IT solutions and delivery
Project management
