Are you comfortable leading a small team and being both a hands-on technical Accountant and a big-picture, strategic, and operational-minded Finance professional? Our client, a leading global supply chain solutions specialist, is looking to hire a Director of Finance. This role will report to the President and have a dotted line to the Finance teams in the UK.

Qualifications:

  • CPA designation preferred (will consider an MBA or ACCA/CIMA)
  • Strong technical accounting skills (this is a team of 2 so this person will be hands-on)
  • Strong FP&A and commercial finance understanding
  • Strong understanding of Canadian GAAP
  • Must have experience with inventory, coming from either a distributor or manufacturer
  • Well-versed in tax, treasury, and audit

The successful candidate will be someone who thrives in a smaller company setting where they will be both hands-on in leading the daily accounting as well as a bigger picture, operational and growth-minded Finance professional who has the confidence and experience of interacting and influencing senior management.
