This is a hybrid role based out of their office in Vaughan (2-3 days a week) and the remaining days on-the-road/client meetings.

140k-175 OTE depending on sales experience level; base salary can up to $135,000 depending on sales experience level
*commission is uncapped, full benefits day 1, vacation, friends and family investment opportunities at preferred rates, and summer fridays!

Our client in the Canadian real estate investment and asset management industry is seeking highly motivated and relationship-driven individuals for their Director, Professional Partnerships full-time positions IN THE GTA AND TORONTO (we are looking for 6-8 new hires for our client!!) to develop and expand a nationwide network of referral and strategic partners.

This role is ideal for entrepreneurial SALES HUNTER professionals who thrive on creating opportunities from scratch, building influential relationships, and driving business growth. The successful candidates will play a key role in expanding investor acquisition channels by establishing partnerships with trusted professionals across multiple industries.

You will be responsible for identifying new partnership opportunities, cultivating referral networks, and generating qualified investor introductions that contribute to the organization's continued growth. Key Responsibilities

Partnership Development & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain a robust network of referral partners, including:
    • Financial advisors and wealth management professionals
    • Real estate industry professionals
    • Mortgage brokers and lending specialists
    • Accountants, lawyers, and other professional advisors
    • Business owners, entrepreneurs, and community influencers
  • Leverage existing professional relationships to generate new opportunities
  • Develop long-term partnerships founded on trust, credibility, and mutual value
  • Serve as a key relationship manager for strategic referral sources

Referral Network Expansion

  • Identify, evaluate, and activate new referral channels across targeted professional communities
  • Design and implement innovative partnership strategies that drive engagement and business growth
  • Strengthen existing referral relationships to improve both referral volume and quality
  • Continuously explore new ways to expand market reach through strategic alliances

Investor Pipeline Development

  • Generate a consistent flow of qualified investor introductions through partner networks
  • Collaborate closely with internal sales and investment teams to support conversion efforts
  • Monitor referral activity, partnership performance, and contribution to fundraising objectives
  • Maintain an organized pipeline and track key partnership metrics

Events & Community Engagement

  • Plan, coordinate, and host events designed to educate, engage, and connect investors and partners, including:
    • Networking events
    • Educational seminars
    • Investor presentations
    • Virtual webinars
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, networking functions, and professional events
  • Foster meaningful connections that strengthen the broader investor and professional community

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal marketing and business development teams to:
    • Develop co-branded partnership initiatives
    • Execute targeted referral campaigns
    • Enhance partner engagement and investor experience
  • Provide market insights and partnership feedback to support ongoing growth initiatives

Qualifications

  • Ideally minimum 3 years of experience in business development, partnerships, relationship management, fundraising, capital raising, or a related field
  • Demonstrated success building and leveraging professional relationships to drive business results
  • Strong CRM experience; HubSpot experience preferred
  • Existing network within one or more of the following sectors:
    • Wealth management and financial advisory
    • Real estate
    • Legal and accounting services
    • Entrepreneurial and business owner communities
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within alternative investments, private real estate, investment funds, or exempt market products
  • Dealer Representative licensing is considered an asset
  • Previous experience organizing events, educational programs, webinars, or community-building initiatives
