The Director of Finance Transformation, reporting to the Enterprise Transformation Team, will play a central role in shaping and executing the overall enterprise transformation strategy, with a particular emphasis on the successful rollout of finance-related initiatives.
In this role, the Director will be tasked with driving the transformation of the finance function through forward-thinking strategies, process improvements, and the integration of new technologies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with extensive expertise in finance, project management, and change management.
This is a permanent, full-time position located in Vaughan, with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days onsite).
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Create and implement a finance transformation plan that aligns with the company’s broader objectives and strategic roadmap.
Technology Integration: Lead the assessment and implementation of finance technologies, including ERP systems and automation tools, to enhance financial reporting and analytics.
Change Management: Champion organizational change efforts to ensure the successful adoption of new processes and technologies across the finance team and the wider organization.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership, department heads, and external partners to ensure that finance transformation projects are in line with business goals.
Performance Tracking: Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of transformation initiatives and provide regular updates to executive management.
Team Development: Mentor and guide finance professionals to cultivate a high-performing team capable of executing the transformation vision.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
8+ years of experience in finance, focusing on transformation, process optimization, or project management.
Proven success in leading finance transformation projects in a corporate setting.
Strong knowledge of finance technologies and ERP systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Experience with change management methodologies is an asset.
