Credit Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Credit Manager to lead the Credit Department and oversee the full credit and accounts receivable function. This role is responsible for ensuring timely collections across the customer portfolio, managing credit risk, reconciling major retail accounts, and maintaining strong working relationships with customers, internal sales teams, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Credit team, ensuring daily, weekly, monthly, and annual objectives are achieved
Oversee timely collection of outstanding receivables across the customer base
Assess new customer accounts for creditworthiness and establish appropriate terms and credit limits
Continuously monitor existing accounts and adjust credit limits as needed
Review and approve orders exceeding established credit limits where appropriate
Ensure compliance with credit insurance policies, including accurate reporting and portal maintenance
Reconcile major retail customer accounts on a regular basis
Investigate and resolve outstanding deductions, discrepancies, and credit-related issues
Work closely with internal Sales teams and external customers to communicate and resolve credit matters efficiently
Escalate complex issues when required while independently managing day-to-day decisions
Qualifications
College diploma or university degree preferred
Credit designation considered a strong asset
Minimum 5 years of progressive credit / accounts receivable experience
Minimum 3 years of leadership or management experience
Strong knowledge of credit policies, procedures, and risk assessment
Experience managing retail or high-volume customer accounts is an asset
Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of Power BI required
