About Our Client

Our client, a manufacturing company located in Vaughan, is currently hiring a Cost & Pricing Analyst to join their Finance team. This role will focus on standard product costing, customer quotations, pricing analysis and maintaining accurate costing information within the ERP system.

You will be responsible for:

  • Prepare customer price quotations using accurate cost data and margin requirements.
  • Maintain product costing, Bills of Materials and standard costs within the ERP system.
  • Analyze changes in material, labour, overhead, scrap and manufacturing costs.
  • Review product margins and recommend pricing adjustments to management.
  • Analyze cost variances, including material price, usage, labour and scrap variances.
  • Support month-end costing, inventory analysis and profitability reporting.
  • Assist with annual price increases and cost pass-through programs.
  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Engineering and Finance.

To be considered, you will bring the following experience:

  • 2–3+ years of manufacturing costing, accounting or financial analysis experience.
  • Strong experience with standard product costing, BOMs and manufacturing variances.
  • Experience preparing customer quotations and conducting margin analysis.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience working with an ERP system; SYSPRO is a strong asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • CPA designation or progress toward completion is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills.
