Corporate and Real Estate Legal Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Corporate and Real Estate Legal Assistant to support Corporate Law Clerks within a busy Corporate Services team. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, file, and maintain corporate documents, records, and minute books
- Prepare share certificates, client correspondence, and corporate report materials
- Draft basic corporate documents, including director and shareholder resolutions
- Maintain and update corporate databases, registers, and ledgers
- Assist with corporate filings, profile searches, and notices through Cyberbahn
- Monitor deadlines, diarize follow-ups, and support ongoing corporate maintenance
- Assist with special projects, including organizational and officer/director charts
- Manage electronic and physical file organization
What You Bring
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Corporate Law and Real Estate Law
- Familiarity with CorpLink is an asset
- Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to handle high-volume work with accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Legal Assistant Diploma considered an asset
- Collaborative mindset and ability to adapt in a fast-moving environment
