About Our Client
Our Toronto-based start-up client is seeking an ambitious Controller to roll-up their sleeves and join their team. This position has a mandatory in-office component.

Responsibilities
The Controller is responsible for, and not limited to:
  • Lead and own the month-end close process
  • Own the banking and treasury function
  • Own and lead direct and indirect taxes in a multi-jurisdiction environment
  • Oversee employee payroll in a multi-jurisdiction environment
  • Lead and own the annual audit process
  • Drive system implementations and process improvement initiatives
  • Manage a team of talented individuals
Qualifications
The successful applicant has at least 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including proven experience managing a team. Previous experience in a subscription revenue environment is mandatory. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple priorities is key.
