About Our Client

Our client, located in Montreal, is hiring for a Controller for a permanent position

Responsibilities:

• Consolidation of financial statements for presentation to the head office
• Preparation of end-of-period and end-of-quarter reports, period summary results, and detailed results for a complete quarter
• Preparation of periodic financial statements
• Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
• Regular communication with the Canada Revenue Agency and Revenue Québec regarding the GST/QST declaration, as well as with various internal accounting teams
• Preparation of transfers on the banking platform
• Participation in audits
• Management of the accounts payable and receivable cycle

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• CPA designation
• 10 years of accounting experience, including five (5) years as a Controller
• Experience in personnel management
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software
• Bilingual French/English (spoken and written)
