    • Handle cash flow management and monitor financial performance against budgets and projections.
    • Support job costing and annual tax planning strategies.

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:
    • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and management packages for shareholders and external stakeholders.
    • Lead the budgeting process and provide financial forecasts to support business planning and growth initiatives.
    • Provide financial insights and decision support for real estate development projects and new investment opportunities.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors, bankers, and other financial stakeholders.

  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and support the Bookkeeper in managing day-to-day financial transactions and cash flow.
    • Foster a collaborative environment, and cultivate external relationships with key stakeholders, and business partners.

The ideal candidate will hold a CPA designation or equivalent accounting qualification, with a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the property management, construction, or real estate development sectors. They should possess a deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards, coupled with proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential, as the role requires providing strategic financial guidance to support business decisions. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment where a hands-on approach is valued.

What will make you stand out:

  • Experience working in accounting within a property management or construction firm
  • A blend of accounting operations and financial analysis & reporting
  • Desire to work in a small office, entrepreneurial environment, where commitment is appreciated, and flexibility is offered.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies
