Our Client is looking for an experienced Controller to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll, financial reporting, and financial analysis. Remote candidates will be considered for this role, however, preference will be given to candidates in and around the Greater Kingston Area, as occasional travel to Kingston may be expected.
As Controller, you will be leading a team of 2 accounting staff, preparing period-end financial statements, managing budgets and cash flow forecasts, and assisting the CFO with various ad-hoc reporting, due diligence, and risk management activities. You will be involved in M&A M&A-related activities, and be the key point of contact with external auditors.
The Ideal Candidate will be a CPA-designated professional with 5+ years of proven financial leadership experience managing accounting teams. You will have experience overseeing all elements of an accounting function and will be accountable for reporting requirements and deadlines.
