We are recruiting on behalf of one of our top clients in the travel & tourism industry for a Business Intelligence Analyst to turn marketing and business data into clear insights that drive strategic decisions. Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence, you’ll build data pipelines, dashboards, and tools that help measure and optimize performance across paid, owned, and earned channels for the organization.
You’ll collaborate with internal teams, agencies, and partners to ensure accurate data collection, smooth data integration, and high-quality reporting. Experience with GA4, Google Ads, DSP performance data, and social media analytics is essential. Strong technical skills in SQL, BigQuery, DOMO, and Python are required.
Ensure data accuracy through QA, tagging standards, and validation (GTM, Search Console, GA Alerts).
Maintain campaign naming conventions, UTM parameters, and data ingestion processes.
Support tagging implementation, GA4 setup, and data layer structure.
Uphold strong data hygiene, governance, and documentation.
Build and maintain automated data pipelines (BigQuery, DOMO).
Gather and standardize data from PDFs, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Build and maintain DOMO dashboards for campaign and audience performance.
Analyze trends, optimize media spend, and measure ROI.
Automate recurring reports to reduce manual effort.
Present insights clearly to leadership and marketing teams.
Partner with Global Marketing to define KPIs, set goals, and measure campaign success.
Serve as the BI partner to marketing operations during planning cycles.
Support ad hoc analytics on new channels, behaviors, and content performance.
Explore opportunities to integrate conversational analytics into reporting.
Contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting processes.
Strong SQL and Google BigQuery experience.
Proficiency in Python for automation and data transformation.
Experience with DOMO or other BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
Familiarity with Google Cloud Functions, Zapier, and automation workflows.
Working knowledge of JavaScript, GTM, GA4, and web data structures.
Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, PivotTables, advanced formulas).
Deep understanding of digital marketing analytics across channels.
Ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience collaborating with agencies and cross-platform data environments.
Strong project management, problem-solving, and documentation abilities.
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in analytics, marketing, tourism, statistics, computer science, or related fields.
3+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data analytics, or BI roles.
Tourism, destination marketing, or hospitality experience is an asset.
Experience with survey design and analysis (SPSS, GNU PSPP) is a plus.
