Key Responsibilities: As a Business Development Representative, you will be an indispensable part of our sales force, responsible for generating outbound sales-qualified leads. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Researching and identifying potential prospects within defined segments and territories.
- Qualifying warm leads through various communication channels, including phone, email, chat, and social media.
- Initiating prospecting efforts to create new business-qualified opportunities, thereby bolstering the sales pipeline.
- Scheduling appointments with Sales Account Executives to further engage with the most promising prospects.
- Gaining a deep understanding of our product's functionality, positioning, and messaging in alignment with various market segments, regions, and buying groups.
- Participating in marketing and sales activities to enhance the overall process.
- Meeting and exceeding revenue generation goals, such as completed appointments, qualified opportunities, and pipeline progression.
- Identifying key decision-makers within prospective accounts to ascertain their budget and timeline.
- Establishing and nurturing prospect relationships by initiating communication and conducting appropriate follow-ups to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
- Providing valuable feedback to the marketing and partner teams regarding effective channels and messaging.
The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for candidates who possess an associate degree or have equivalent business/customer service experience and are eager to embark on a successful sales career.
