About the Role:

Our client is seeking a Billing Coordinator to join their fast-paced billing team. This role requires someone who can work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. In this role, you will be responsible for submitting and reviewing client invoices, as well as supporting daily billing operations. Candidates should have a keen eye for detail and possess strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the billing process from start to finish
  • Edit and finalize accounts according to instructions and client specifications
  • Review and maintain client fee structures, implement rate changes, address special billing requests, and ensure invoices comply with policies
  • Prepare electronic bills in the LEDES (Legal Electronic Data Exchange Standard) format
  • Process electronic invoices and coordinate with external billing providers to resolve any billing issues
  • Track the status of submitted bills, identify problems, and collaborate with colleagues to address rejections and deductions
  • Process work-in-progress (WIP) and write-offs
  • Research, reconcile, and review billing uploads for accuracy
  • Coordinate with colleagues and clients to resolve any unsuccessful electronic bill submissions
  • Work with the collections team to address and resubmit invoices to e-billing vendors as necessary

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional services Billing role
  • Experience within the legal industry is a huge asset
  • Experience with E-billing an asset but not required
  • Excellent communication skills with a positive, professional demeanor
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously
