A rare opportunity to join their team has come available as a Bilingual Payroll & Benefits Manager(remote).
SALARY: Up to 113K + Benefits
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for processing payroll
- Ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time (hourly and salaried)
- Manage, lead and implement new payroll system
- Work closely with payroll and benefits administrator with day to day payroll duties along with the system implementation.
- Balance and remit bi-weekly and weekly payroll
- Prepare intercompany payroll entries
- Process new hires, terminations, ROE’s and other changes
- Track paid time off entitlements
- Manage employees benefits program
- Complete year end activities such as T4s
- Maintain employee records and files
- Other projects as assigned
- Review, train, and mentor payroll and benefits administrator
- Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger to bank statements
- Other duties/requirements as assigned
Qualifications:
(1) PCP required, PLP is a plus
(2) 5+years of experience with processing multiple payroll runs weekly
(3) 2+ years experience in either a standalone payroll role or experience leading a small payroll team
(4) Payroll accounting knowledge, journal entries for payroll etc
(5) Bilingual
(6) Strong communicator, presents well
(7) ADP Workforce Now - very nice to have
