About our Client:

Our client, a North American Manufacturer and leader in their industry, is growing and adding a Bilingual Junior Accountant to their team.
If you are French/English Bilingual and have 2-3 yrs of experience in Payroll, AP & AR and enjoy working in the office with your colleagues, this role might be a great match for you!

Responsibilities:

Take care of the daily AR tasks - manage the Aging, follow up with customers regarding payments, apply for payments
Follow up and resolve any payment discrepancies with customers
Post deposits
Manage the full cycle AP - 3-way matching and investigate discrepancies, enter invoices into the ERP system and issue vendor payments
Assist with monthly account reconciliations
Enter hours for hourly employees and ensure all employee records are up to date for timely and accurate payroll processing

Qualifications:

3+ yrs relevant experience
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting or Business
Strong attention to detail
Timely and accurate data entry
Ability to communicate with internal and external customers in both English and French (written and oral)
Enthusiastic, team player
Intermediate Knowledge and use of Excel
Prior Payroll experience (Quebec exp, preferred)
