About Our Client

Our client, located in Montreal is looking to add a Bilingual Controller to their team. This Bilingual Controller will be instrumental in collaborating with two locations and leading by example as they move to change the culture of the company. The Bilingual Controller with oversee a team of 5, and be responsible for ensuring reporting is accurate and reliable. Responsibilities
  • Oversee and mentor a team of 5
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Ensure reporting is accurate and readily available for senior management
  • Complete account reconciliation/analysis
  • Maintain day-to-day accounting (AP, AR, GL)
  • Identify areas of risk and recommend strategies to mitigate them
  • Be the go-to person for internal/external audits

Qualifications
  • Enrolment in the CPA program
  • Bilingual; French/English, mandatory
  • Previous experience managing/mentoring a team
  • Oracle experience an asset
  • Experience as a change manager, mandatory
