Our client is a prominent manufacturer in the Woodbridge area. They are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Bilingual Accounts Receivable Manager to support finance operations in Toronto and Montreal.

Position Overview:

The Bilingual Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of receivables, invoicing, collections, and reporting. This role requires proficiency in both English and French and involves collaborating with various departments to enhance efficiency and resolve billing issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with clients in both English and French to resolve billing issues and ensure prompt payment.
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to minimize bad debt.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts receivable reports, presenting findings to management.
  • Maintain accurate records of all receivable transactions and ensure timely processing of payments.
  • Manage and oversee the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounts receivable policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Provide training and support to junior accounts receivable staff.

About you:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a comparable role.
  • Language Proficiency: Bilingual in English and French, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in accounting principles, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and accounting software.
