About The Client

Our client is currently looking for an experienced Branch Manager to join their amazing team on a full-time permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall management and execution of the day-to-day branch operations from implementing business strategies to managing customer relations. Salary - $90K plus bonus and car allowance

Responsibilities

  • Making strategies to determine the company’s objectives
  • Hiring, training, and developing staff to maximize their potential
  • Monitoring staff performance and delegating work duties to staff
  • Planning and implementing procedures to maximize operating efficiency
  • Assisting the purchasing department in maintaining optimal inventory levels
  • Conducting market research and customer analysis to identify sales opportunities
  • Ensuring that all reasonable client requests are met diligently
  • Making sure that all branch personnel understand the overall company objectives as well as their departmental objectives
  • Providing help in resolving conflicting objectives
  • Preparing appropriate annual, monthly, and weekly plans
  • Working with Human Resources to ensure that the most qualified applicants are hired for open positions
  • Carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and laws

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in business-to-business operations and sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Industry experience in construction, fire protection, or plumbing is an asset
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and confidently in all business settings, as well as to conduct corporate meetings
  • Great leadership and analytical skills
  • Must have an experience with Navision software, Microsoft Office – Citrix workspace environment
  • Adaptable and detail-oriented
  • Ability to delegate, set expectations, and monitor the progress of all direct reports
  • Time management and prioritization skills are required to achieve business targets
