Location: Hybrid – GTA or GTHA (Remote with occasional office presence if needed 1-2 times/ month)
Contract Length: 6+ months (with potential for extension or permanent hire)
Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 (annualized salary based on experience)

Our client is a global leader in sustainability-focused business solutions with a strong presence in Toronto. They provide intelligence and performance improvement tools to help organizations manage risk, drive compliance, and achieve environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.

As part of their North American marketing and sales operations, they are seeking an experienced Events Management Contractor to coordinate and execute both in-person and virtual events. This hybrid role is ideal for an event professional who thrives in cross-functional environments and is passionate about impactful, mission-aligned work.


Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute in-person events including venue selection, vendor coordination, and agenda building
  • Coordinate and manage webinars via Zoom including setup, speaker logistics, and post-event follow-ups
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Content teams to align messaging and goals
  • Support promotional efforts for events via email, social media, and partner channels
  • Maintain and track attendee registrations and event performance metrics
  • Assist in analyzing post-event data and consolidating feedback to assess ROI
  • Ensure all event deliverables are executed on time and aligned with sustainability goals


Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in event planning, marketing, or demand generation
  • Demonstrated success in organizing both virtual and in-person events
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Familiarity with tools such as Zoom, Salesforce, or similar platforms
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and organizational skills
  • Experience working in B2B or sustainability-driven environments is a plus
  • Self-starter who can work independently in a remote/hybrid setting
