Our client specializing in cloud communication, is looking to add an Asterisk VoIP Developer for a full-time and permanent position. This role is fully remote anywhere in Canada and comes with an amazing benefit package.
● Designing, developing, and implementing VoIP solutions using the Asterisk framework.
● Customising and configuring Asterisk-based systems to meet specific client requirements.
● Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to VoIP systems and Asterisk implementations.
● Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate VoIP solutions with existing
applications and services.
● Providing technical expertise and support for VoIP-related projects and initiatives.
● Researching and implementing new technologies to enhance VoIP capabilities and
● Creating and maintaining technical documentation for VoIP systems and Asterisk
● Proven experience as a VoIP Developer with a focus on Asterisk technologies.
● In-depth knowledge of VoIP protocols, codecs, and SIP/RTP standards.
● Proficiency in Asterisk configuration, dial plan scripting and call routing.
● Experience with integrating Asterisk with databases, CRM systems, and other third-party
● Strong understanding of Linux-based operating systems and command-line tools.
● Familiarity with network and telecommunication concepts, including LAN/WAN
configurations and QoS.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex VoIP issues.
● Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
● Experience with other VoIP platforms and technologies, such as OpenSIPS.
● Knowledge of security best practices for VoIP systems and network infrastructure.
● Familiarity with WebRTC and real-time communication applications.
