About Our Client:
Our client is seeking a professional Associate, M&A with at least 2 years background in a relevant driven investment role such as investment banking, accounting, venture capital etc.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with deal origination team to meeting software businesses
- Determine financial models for target valuations
- Study company financial/operational information, form investment strategies, and support in creation of investment materials
- Oversee the ending of acquisition process and perform commercial / financial due diligence
- Build strong relationships with management, shareholders, and advisors
- Participate in preparation and review of offers (IOIs, LOIs, definitive agreements)
Qualifications
- At least 2 years background in a relevant driven investment role such as investment banking, accounting, venture capital etc.
- Undergraduate degree in business (MBA, CPA, and/or CFA are considered assets but not required)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills
- Detail oriented, professional and organized
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
