About the Role:
Our client is looking for a Sales Compensation Analyst for a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering their Anaplan platform, analyzing, updating, and maintaining data accurately and efficiently for reporting and strategic insight.
Responsibilities:
* Administer the sales compensation platform, Anaplan.
* Carry out system admin tasks and manage the user list.
* Maintain data integration and validate transferred data.
* Keep the sales organization hierarchy up-to-date to ensure accurate revenue reporting.
* Manage the Targets module within Anaplan.
* Handle the sales compensation process (OTE/OVP) to ensure accurate commission payments across various sales roles.
* Suggest and lead platform enhancements, including new features, reports, and dashboards, and expansions to incorporate new roles into Anaplan.
* Maintain sales hierarchy, sales assignments, and territory assignments for all sales channels and role categories.
* Serve as a backup system administrator when needed.
**Reporting and Analysis:**
* Prepare and distribute statistical reports for both outside and inside sales operations teams nationally.
* Provide daily, weekly, and monthly productivity and performance updates to the Director.
* Conduct ongoing analysis, including tracking and analyzing performance by individual and by team across all channels, and report actual performance against standards.
* Analyze performance trends and their impact on goal achievements.
* Recommend changes to assignments to improve performance and contribute to campaign planning.
* Manage ad-hoc reporting and projects as required by the Sales & Service Operations team.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business objectives and apply analytics to support projects, ensuring efficient problem-solving and issue resolution.
* Drive process improvement through innovative analytic approaches and creative thinking.
* Maintain a strong understanding of products, processes, and procedures to provide solid recommendations.
**Process and System Support:**
* Support the Sales Operations team with process and system knowledge.
* Ensure current processes are relevant and recommend updates or revisions when necessary.
* Communicate with internal customers regarding escalated concerns, determining when to escalate to the Director.
* Ensure the team follows services and processes, meets customer expectations, and delivers results.
Qualifications:
* At least 2 years of experience in a compensation analyst role
* You must have a minimum of 2 years experience working with Anaplan
* Strong analytical skills
* Advanced Excel
