About Our Client

Our client, located in the Toronto core, is looking for an Investment Operations Analyst. The Investment Operations Analyst will assist with the accounting close, prepare fee calcuations, and assist with new investments onboarding. If you have 1+ years of experience in financial services or an accounting firm, and are working towards your CPA/CFA/CAIA this could be a great opporutnity!

Responsibilities

  • Support period end financial reporting
  • Interact with custodians, and prepare KYC and other documentations
  • Prepare pricing schedules and reconcile with accounting records
  • Fee calculations (management/incentive)
  • Participate in reconciliations and journal entries

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in an accounting role in financial services
  • A University/College education
  • Completion or working towards a designation
  • Experience with SAP, Python, Power BI, VBA are assets
  • Preferred personality traits include being a self-starter, strong work ethics, and great interpersonal skills
