Our client is an exciting NGO that has been recently funded by the government to drive women’s initiatives domestically and abroad. Established in 2019, our client was given a federal mandate to help develop innovative programming worldwide for gender equality across the globe. As the organization has grown tremendously in a short period of time, and has well-established global programs, the IT team is looking for a strong administrator who can help manage information flow and integrity within their Salesforce system.
We are currently searching for a temporary Philanthropy Administrator to help the IT team track donation information in Salesforce. Working with the Salesforce Advisor and the IT Director, you will collaborate with the Philanthropy team to ensure smooth communication. You will be responsible for the data entry of donor information info Salesforce from multiple sources and ensure they are accurate within the system. The Administrator will be responsible for tracking credit cards set to expire, and contacting donors to maintain current credit card records or update information. You will play an important role in maintaining accurate donor records and maintaining grant application deadlines and status updates. You will be working with all types of donations – one-time donations, gifts, grants, recurring pledges, etc. and your role will be to ensure the proper data is captured in the processing platforms and appropriate correspondence and thank you notes are sent to donors. The Administrator will issue taxes help prepare tax receipts and build reports and dashboards in Salesforce to help track information for leadership, sales, and finance teams. You will ensure all other organizational groups have the data they require to help meet their government reporting deadlines. Proving recommendations to help simplify processes and build better controls will be welcome. Finally, you will be expected to respond to emails, help create POs, and track financial information, while assisting with scheduling support for the VP.
The Ideal Candidate will be available for contract work within a fantastic NGO that does so much great work globally. You will have a minimum of 2-3 years working for another non-profit organization and know how to navigate a fundraising database, ideally in a Salesforce environment. You will be a collaborative professional, who can work internally across the organization and externally with donors. You will be well organized to maintain donor and grant deadlines but bring exceptional attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and integrity of donor information within the system. We are looking for a fast learner who isn’t afraid to jump in and loves to find efficiencies through systems. You will be a strong communicator with exceptional written skills. We are looking for someone who has worked in an organization with multiple donor options and can be the glue between finance, philanthropy, and IT.
