Our Client is a respected, community-focused transportation company in Navan, Ottawa. A fourth-generation family-run business, they have built a strong reputation for safe, dependable, and friendly transportation services for local schools and families. With deep roots in the community and a culture of collaboration and service, they are now seeking a Bilingual Administrator and Operations Support Specialist to join their team and support both administrative operations and frontline logistics.
As the Administrator and Operations Support Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining the safe and efficient coordination of daily school bus routes. Your responsibilities will include dispatching, real-time communication with drivers using a two-way radio, and acting as a liaison between schools, drivers, and parents. You'll also manage documentation, data entry, scheduling, and general office support. This is a hands-on, in-person role in a fast-paced environment that values multitasking, proactive problem-solving, and strong interpersonal communication.
The ideal candidate will be fully bilingual (English and French), with at least two years of experience in an administrative or operational support role. You should be tech-savvy and comfortable with MS Office Suite. Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks calmly under pressure are essential. A friendly and adaptable nature, great organizational skills, and an ability to work collaboratively across teams will ensure success in this role.
