About Our Client

Our client is a well-established and growing organization in the construction and aggregate industry seeking a motivated and experienced Sales & Dispatch Manager to oversee sales operations, dispatch coordination, and customer relationships. Location: Agassiz, BC
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: $95,000 to $120,000 annually + bonus structure

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day sales activities and customer relationships
  • Coordinate dispatch operations and maintain communication between sales and operations teams
  • Prepare, track, and follow up on customer quotes
  • Monitor sales tracking systems and review end-of-day sales reports
  • Maintain accurate daily activity records, including meetings, sales activity, and dispatch coordination
  • Respond to AR/AP inquiries in a timely manner
  • Review budgets, purchase orders, trucking costs, and fuel usage
  • Support business growth by tracking new accounts and expanding existing client relationships
  • Provide monthly reporting on business development activities and account growth
  • Work closely with dispatch, scale, and operations teams to ensure deliveries and production align with sales requirements
  • Identify operational issues and assist in providing practical solutions
  • Ensure all pricing follows company guidelines and approval processes
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding company pricing, customers, operations, and sales information

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sales, dispatch, or operations coordination within construction, aggregates, or a related industry
  • Strong understanding of materials, gradations, inventory, and stockpile management
  • Familiarity with basic testing procedures, including sieves, densities, and proctors, is considered an asset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism
  • Experience with reporting, quoting, and customer management
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
  • Ability to work collaboratively with operations and dispatch teams

Compensation & Bonus Structure

  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $95,000 to $120,000, depending on industry experience and sales history
  • Paid bi-weekly
  • Bonus structure based on tons sold above the monthly target average
  • Bonus eligibility applies to properly priced, invoiced, and paid work only
