About Our Client

Our client is a large, reputable law firm located in Toronto. To support the continued growth of their business, they're recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Administrator.

Responsibilities

As part of the Accounts Receivable team, the Accounts Receivable Administrator will be responsible for performing a diverse range of functions including, but not limited to:
  • Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable
  • Creates invoices according to company practices;submits invoices to customers
  • Maintains and updates customer files
  • Work closely with the collections team and other team member to investigate payments that are insufficient
  • Monitor all accounts, credit limits, holds on accounts
  • Strong working relationship with internal departments
  • Process client fees

Qualifications

The following are the minimum requirements to be considered for this role:
  • 2+ years previous AR experience;experience working in a professional services firm is a must (legal and professional is preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • CMS experience is an asset
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously at times, as well as the ability to work well in a close team environment
  • Strong analytical skills with proven problem solving capabilities
