About Our Client:

Our client is seeking a professional Accounts Payable Manager with at least 5 years of background ideally working in a supervisory AP role for an 18M Contract that could go permanent.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the daily tasks- managing workflows, and vendors
  • Offer leadership and guidance to the AP team and support onboarding members
  • Manage important documents and follow appropriate practices
  • Suggest improved procedures regarding internal controls
  • Work closely with various stakeholders
  • Perform and follow policies and review prompt approvals
  • Oversee monthly AP closings, reconciliations and accruals
  • Address any questions or concerns regarding customers' expenses and review discrepancies
  • Manage full-cycle employment records and budget analysis reports
  • Research market trends and implement relevant and efficient improvement strategies
  • Preview AP processing aligns with company regulations and standards

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of background working in a supervisory AP role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, and high-volume environment
  • Excellent understanding of account payable standards
  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office- especially Excel
  • Required background working in multiple entities
  • Required background working in online banking and wire transactions
  • Ideally background working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP or Yardi
  • Detail-oriented, professional, and organized
