About Our Client:
Our client is currently looking to add an analytical and tech-savvy Accounts Payable Analyst to their team.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate processing of vendor invoices including: account coding, batching, authorization verification, departmental approval limits, commodity tax assessments, installment & reoccurring payments, and review of edit reports
- Providing financial and technical customer service via e-mail and over the phone
- Looking for discrepancies and performing required adjustments
- Generating settlement reports
- Assisting Manager and department with other Finance related tasks
Qualifications:
- Must possess post-secondary certification in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 3-4 years experience in an Accounting or Finance role
- Strong bank reconciliation experience
- Intermediate MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with learning multiple in-house systems
