Our tier 1 client an industry leader in real estate is seeking a talented Accounts Payable professional. In this role, you'll play a vital part in our financial operations by accurately processing vendor payable invoices for timely payments and ensuring precise coding for meticulous financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, process, and validate invoices and cheque requests via Payscan.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is properly attached.
- Prepare and execute cheque runs efficiently.
- Monitor accounts to maintain up-to-date payments.
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and related issues.
- Maintain organized vendor files.
- Communicate with vendors and address inquiries promptly.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures.
- Thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Uphold deadlines as required.
- Provide comprehensive documentation for audits.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Accounting, coupled with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Excel with acute attention to detail.
- Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines consistently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (proficiency in English preferred).
- Prior experience with Yardi software is advantageous.
- Familiarity with accounting practices in the real estate sector is a plus.
