About Our Client

Our client in Hamilton is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their team. This position offers a competitive salary, and the opportunity to grow with the company.

Responsibilities:

• Input supplier invoices according to type of purchase.
• Investigate and rectify any discrepancies on supplier invoices.
• Conduct month-end and balance the sub ledger to the general ledger
• Adhere to company procedures
• Accrue all unprocessed transactions for goods and services at month-end
• Prepare weekly cash requirements for Controller
• Run weekly disbursement cheques for suppliers, by due dates and terms
• Ensure daily input of invoices and run reports to verify accuracy
• Other full cycle accounting and Month End duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years minimum Accounts Payable experience
• Post-secondary education in a related field
• Knowledge of accounting software is an asset
• Accounting designation desired or working toward designation
• Good communication skills (written and oral)
