What You Get to Do:
- Manage accounting functions and guide accounting staff
- Handle financial accounting, reporting, and tax compliance
- Support operations/manufacturing group with cost accounting and inventory analysis
- Report monthly financial results with detailed variance analysis and consolidated reporting
- Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts; maintain fixed asset sub-ledger
- Monitor cash flow and calculate monthly depreciation
- Ensure compliance with internal controls
- Oversee payroll functions and tax compliance
- Develop and implement process improvements
About You:
- Professional designation (CPA/CGA/CMA)
- Experience in manufacturing, preferably within project accounting
- Prior costing experience is required
- Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, with prior experience with Sage 300 preferred
- Previous supervisory experience is an asset
