The Company
Our client a construction company is rapidly growing and looking to hire a Financial Controller to join their team to lead the accounting and finance division.


The Role
Reporting directly to the Owners this role will be a position overseeing the entire Accounting and Finance department. The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting, completing month and year-end reports, managing cash flow, create process efficiencies for the department, and lead the budget and forecasting process for the entire business


The Qualifications
  • University degree in accounting or finance
  • 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience
  • 1-2 years of supervisory, team lead, or management experience
  • A very smart analytical, and business-minded person not afraid to be hands-on
  • Experience working in the construction, real estate, manufacturing, or/and distribution space
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • CPA designation is an asset but not a must
