Job Description

Our client, a respected public-sector organization, is seeking a Change Specialist to join their Talent & Organizational Development team. This role supports organization-wide change initiatives and learning strategies that engage employees at all levels — particularly within a unionized environment.

Job Summary

As a Change Specialist, you will lead the design and facilitation of learning programs and partner with business leaders on successful implementation of change management strategies. This role blends adult learning principles, stakeholder engagement, and project execution to support operational and strategic transitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and facilitate inclusive learning experiences to support leadership and organizational change.

  • Consult on change strategies: impact assessments, readiness planning, communications, and roadmaps.

  • Build strong internal relationships to tailor learning solutions aligned with organizational goals.

  • Track and measure the effectiveness of learning and change programs, providing insights for improvement.

  • Stay current with best practices and innovations in change management and adult learning.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of experience in change management or learning development, ideally within healthcare or unionized public sector environments.

  • Strong facilitation skills, with comfort engaging all levels including senior leadership.

  • Solid knowledge of adult education principles and instructional design.

  • PROSCI certification or equivalent in change management is strongly preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Adult Education or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proficient in Zoom/Teams, LMS platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
