Our client is located in North York and is hiring an Accountant for a permanent role.
Responsibilities
- Minimum 5-years experience
- Construction experience is an asset
- Full cycle bookkeeping
- High-level skill in accounting software
- Weekly payroll preparation
- Source deduction, HST, Health tax, WSIB, Union dues
- Liaison with accounting firm and management
- Preparation of monthly financial reports
- Collection of AR and AP and related duties
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or Business
- A great attitude and proven ability to be an effective business partner, team player, and collaborator
- 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Partners at all levels of the organization, with the ability to negotiate and influence to achieve results
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
- Proven track record in multi-tasking and prioritizing large volumes of work
- Strong systems skills including strong Excel knowledge
