We’re seeking a Controller / Accounting Manager to lead full-cycle accounting and financial reporting for a key division. This role partners closely with leadership to deliver critical insights that drive operational performance and growth. Based in Peel region with weekly travel to another site, you’ll play a key role in shaping financial strategy and strengthening controls.
Oversee monthly and quarterly financial statements and variance analyses
Maintain general/subsidiary ledgers and ensure compliance
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit preparation
Ensure ERP data accuracy (Oracle preferred)
Manage tax filings and regulatory compliance
Strengthen internal controls and reporting systems
Supervise and mentor a small accounting team
Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership
CPA designation (required)
7–10 years’ progressive accounting experience (manufacturing preferred)
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong ERP and advanced Excel skills
Leadership experience with direct reports
Valid Ontario G driver’s license and willingness to travel weekly
Experience in logistics, transportation, or resource recovery is an asset
