Our client, located in mid-Toronto is looking for an Accounting Coordinator. This role is responsible for a variety of full-cycle accounting functions. Responsibilities

The Accounting Coordinator will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for performing a diverse range of functions including but not limited to:

• General ledger reconciliations;
• Full cycle accounts payable and invoicing for accounts receivables;
• Assisting with reconciling general ledger accounts;
• Bank reconciliations;
• Assisting with monthly reporting requirements;
• Preparing month-end journal entries/accruals;
• Bank deposits;
• Data entry;
• Ad hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting and ideally pursuing a CPA designation
• Experience with an ERP system
• 2+ years experience in an accounting role;
• Advanced Microsoft Excel;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Strong self-starter
