About Our Client:

Our client is seeking a professional Accounting Coordinator with a minimum of 2-4 years background in accounting and finance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize invoices, cost codes and expenses
  • Support holdback accounts and confirm information is accurate
  • Review, vendor statements and bank accounts
  • Run weekly and monthly cheques as required
  • Run corporate credit card reconciliations
  • Process wire transfers and other types of online transactions
  • Manage vendor cheques for mailing
  • Address any questions or concerns from vendors regarding bills
  • Manage vendor and trade insurance
  • Support with accounting setup and prepare bank files
  • Execute other related duties, as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, Diploma or Certificate in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Currently enrolled or plans to enroll in the CPA PEP Program
  • 2-4 years of experience in an Accounting or Finance related role
  • Background working in Real Estate Development or Construction (asset)
  • Detail oriented, professional and organized
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent communication skills- both oral and written
