About Our Client

Our client, located in Toronto, is a production company and is looking to hire an Accountant to join their team!

Responsibilities

Reporting to the President the Accountant will be responsible for but not limited to:
  • Processing of all project accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and expense reports
  • Manage weekly digital payment run ensuring timely payment of suppliers
  • Assist with month-end close including bank and credit card reconciliations, prepaid, and petty cash
  • Filing and managing government remittances including HST, Workers’ Compensation, and Payroll Source Deductions
  • Managing online banking functions including bill payments and foreign currency wire transfers
  • Assist with company budgeting and cash flow forecasting
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and maintain attention to detail in an environment requiring flexibility and adaptability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, enthusiastic with a can-do attitude and has a team player approach
