Overview

Our well established manufacturing client located in Oakville is hiring a detail-oriented Accountant to join their team. This role offers a hybrid work model and the opportunity to support both financial reporting and operational teams in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
• Reconcile all balance sheet GL accounts.
• File corporate tax, QST, and HST remittances.
• Support operations teams with financial analysis and reporting.
• Reconcile sales and ensure accurate coding and dollar values.
• Manage fixed assets and monthly depreciation.
• Review account reconciliations and AP/AR/Inventory coding for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare year-end audit files and support external audit processes.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in Accounting (college diploma or university degree).
• Active enrollment in the CPA program and working toward designation.
• 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and analyze large data sets.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
