This amazing company is looking for an Accountant to join their amazing finance group.
As the Accountant, you will function as part of the Accounting Department team performing all duties associated with financial & management reporting, HST reporting, receipts, revenues, accounts receivables, disbursements, expenses, and supporting accounts payables pertaining to property management, reconciliations, financial statement preparation for properties and brokerage sales calculations. Day-to-day duties will include tenant move-in and move-out maintenance, tenant refunds, document scanning for distribution to investors and other duties as required from time to time.
The Ideal Candidate will have a fundamental understanding of full-cycle accounting with strong proficiencies in MS Office with the ability to learn new software quickly. They will demonstrate the ability to multitask; this role will require the candidate to handle numerous inquiries and tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting the recurring requirements of the position. You will bring a minimum of 3 years managing cash flow, reviewing the GL, reconciling accounting and preparing statements for each asset.
