TITLE: Account Manager
LOCATION: GTA - North Toronto area
WORK TYPE: HYBRID - 3-4 days in-office as required
Salary Range: Base between $70,000 - $100,000, depending on experience
ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
Our client, a high-growth beauty and personal care company, is seeking an Account Manager to support the Sales Director/Account Director in managing key accounts across North America. This role focuses on sales support, administrative coordination, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring smooth execution of business plans and account-related operations. A background in the Beauty, Cosmetics, Personal Care, Fashion/Lifestyle, or CPG industries is an asset.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Account Manager will perform a diverse range of functions, including but not limited to:
- Provide support to the Sales Director/Account Director, assisting with key account management and sales operations.
- Assist in the preparation of retailer presentations, sales reports, and business tracking documents.
- Maintain and update retailer portals, including SKU management and performance tracking.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams (demand planning, supply chain, finance, and customer service) to ensure operational efficiency.
- Support trade spend analysis, promotional effectiveness tracking, and key account performance reviews.
- Assist in the execution of marketing and promotional plans, ensuring accurate implementation and monitoring results.
- Organize and coordinate cross-functional meetings, facilitating communication between internal departments.
- Provide administrative and operational support to optimize sales processes and account management functions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in Account Management, Sales Support, Category Management, or Merchandising, preferably in CPG.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, with experience supporting senior sales professionals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools such as Nielsen/IRI.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in the Beauty, Cosmetics, or CPG industries is an asset.
