Our Client

Our Client , a largest family owned and operated paint company in North America with stores all across Canada is looking for an experienced Account Payable Clerk to join their team on a temporary basis starting October 10th to November 14th. Salary - $22 to $24 an hour

Working Hours – Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile vendor accounts; resolve disputes
  • Assist with month and year-end processes
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve AP processes
  • Manage and maintain vendor accounts
  • Coding and processing of all invoices into ERP systems
  • Manage the weekly cheques/EFT/ACH/Amex run
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Correspond with vendor and respond to inquiries
  • Reconcile balance sheet general ledger accounts
  • Reconcile intercompany billings

Qualifications

  • College/University diploma/degree in accounting or business, or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Knowledge & experience of auditing/analysis & processing invoices
  • 1-3 years full-cycle payables exposure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • Computer skills – MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), must be proficient with Excel
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines
