About our Client
Our Client, a leading producer of functional aluminates and specialty chemicals, is looking for an experienced JR Sales Representative to join their Lower Mainland team on a permanent full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and building a customer list and selling specialty chemicals and equipment. In return, the company offers commission after 1 year of employment, a bonus structure, RRSP matching, a benefits package, and a car allowance. Salary ranges from 60-65K
Responsibilities
- Support Senior Sales reps
- Conduct face-to-face and phone meetings on a daily basis and continually build client relationships
- Identifying market trends or needs and reporting those to Management, while on your site visits
- Managing bids and bid packages with the assistance of Management
- Cold calling and customer referrals
- Running competitive tests and trials to gain new business in your defined territory
Qualifications
- Scientific Background, preferably a degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related subject
- A sales background or excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to easily strike up a conversation with someone
- Excellent written skills in order to cohesively present information to our desired target audience
- Must have 3 years of sales experience
